wow ok im not going to read this thread but i assume that it took 4 pages to explain to change a fp? lol im kinding but that looks good red on white i like that i was thinking red buttons for my whire slim with red leds idk havent picked color scheme yet

you mean a full case?

The faceplate is the front the backplate is the back and all together its a case

and i like that faceplate it looks good with the white buttons

hey, an easy mod? um well my first mod was the um trigger mod lol =3 i found it quite easy( i only soldered like a few times before and if you solder onto your speakers, its sound reactive PLUS on the speakers, there is already solder so you just melt it and stick ur wire in

) but you can always try to do the power led swap. its quite easy and simple.

Oh and if you do the trigger mod : a switch is nice to have. (personally i like using the wlan switch better than hold cuz the hold function gets disabled but i need the hold for when im listening to music, i dun wanna accidently hit a button and switch music. but the wlan switch, the wlan doesnt get disabled, its just on all the time.)

that or u can install a different switch in another part of the psp for the triggers

ok lets say firefox is a lot better to use go to the firefox site and look for plugins and that should work at least i hope it does....

yea cuz if u want to have ur L and R trigger to glow i sugest drilling and installing those leds not that clear case if u cant the case to glow i can show u videos of the way ppl did theres..

and for leds - radioshack or ebay (0603 SMD) oh and you will need a resistor for blue leds

Well I use 0603 there small but it takes skill so ur probably better with 0805 LEDs...
and get a 15-20 watts soldering iron with rosin core solder, thin solder tho not the thick kind...
but before time practice soldering on some old boards so u can get used to soldering and less likely to mess up solder on ur psp....so try that out...

how many screws are on the lcd cage i took off 6 and it will not come off

Open the UMD Door up it should come out just give it a lil tug to the right and pull up

Oh make sure the 2 LIL sliver ones from inside the battery compartment are out too
