Lost my whole hard drive

My hard drive blew up on me and I lost all my artwork, PSD's, Music, Games, Files. I don't wont to go on because I know that I will remeber something that I really needed. So, This is like a fresh start, New computer, New hard drive

I'm reinstalling all my Adobe Applications now, Hopefully, I can get back on track

that's why I backup my stuff on a regular basis, not that it matter because I have a mac, not one problem since day one  :winker:

Just put your head up and move on. i have lost so much  stuff recently and past sure you in the beginning you find you need something but as time goes on you forget and move on. but i would if i were you if it does not spin bring it in to a computer repair store they will remove the platters and retrieve all the data. dont do it your self it has to be done in a static dust free sterile zone.  but if it spins the you are in luck there are some programs i have used to recover lost data on a partitioned hdd or a hdd that has gone rouge they recover what ever you want they take a long time but they work.

one thing to always keep in mind is backups...

i lost everything during a royal partition f**kup,

but i had a backup, just restored, and for windows i had a list of programs

please tell me you tried some data recovery before you r3eformatted it as i royally :censored:ed up my drive once when i forgot to do something and some :censored: happened but i then ran some data recovery software and got probably 98% of my files back the other 2% were slightly corupted but they were like 800mb video files etc that had corrupted down to like 16mb so i only had the first few bits of the video. but thats ok as i got them backed up someware i think

yeh but lots of peopple exagerate like my friend said his computer blew up when all he meant is it wouldnt boot cos his hard drive had blue screened or something
