Okay so I think i have figured out a way to power all of the electronics easily and without any chance of microsoft detecting it.


Basicly it would be something just like this:http://www.mini-box.com/picoPSU-120-power-kit

Except it would not have motherboard power to it. ( I would make it myself)

The general idea behind it is that it is a completely seperate power source that in theroy could power more internal fans and leds to keep your xbox 360 running cool and looking cool.

It would have a plug on the back of the 360 that you would plug in another power cord to to power the extra mods.

I see it as really opening up what you can do as far as mods and still be able to play on xbox live.

Any thoughts?

You could also do a power switch on the side of the case to turn the leds and fans off if you want to for some reason.

Ummmm why not just use the USB port since it is used for the outside of the 360 and microsoft doesn't know if you have 3 controllers plugged into it with a usb hub or a Ipod there is no way microsoft can monitor the external USB Port...

The only problem with that is that then you would either have cables sticking outside the case or you would have to find the power for the usb from inside the case.
