rules of the December mod-off

If anybody does not have access to a digital camera then you better get ones soon (even cellphone will do),because a video or picture diary must be made after each week that passes during the competition.

Thought I'd throw this out here. If you're modding something smaller like a ds, psp, or anything small like that, you Could use a scanner. Not the greatest, but probably better than a phone (if you have one, that is).

A still camera or scanner cannot show off sound reactive led's or any other features that couldn't not be picked up by a still camera or scanner,so yeah a video camera is pretty much necessary,even if it's only cellphone.

um ryan0 just an idea, if we start and we show an image, and someone has everyone 2 days to show an image, or video, then couldnt someone steal the idea, and then start it and it seems to be at the same time? Could you maybe make a rule that the first day you have to post an image of your main things, and your goal? so no one can steal it?

Anyone can copy an idea, that doesn't mean it's gonna be better.
This is the best of the best mods, it's not based on ideas.
Like...2 people can make the same 360, one will be crap and the other would be amazing.
Obviously, the amazing one would win. See what I'm getting at...kinda?

At least, that's how I see it.

A rule like that would ruin the element of surprise,if somebody doesn't want to reveal every mod that they've done to their console until their grand finale then they can,we can't make them reveal it at the beginning if they don't want to.

A lot of inconsistencies... It says you have to take pictures/videos every two days, however you say you have to post pictures everyday. You also say that you don't have to post your pictures till the grande finale, but once again, you say pictures/videos must be taken every two days. Clarify please?

You also say that you don't have to post your pictures till the grande finale, but once again, you say pictures/videos must be taken every two days. Clarify please?

Yoy TAKE photos everyday and videos/pictures every 2 days then, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO POSST THEM, you wait till the end and then post all of your progress, I recommend that you simply put all your videos and pics into a youtube slideshow

I did read the rules like twice, and I still don't understand them. Sure, I'm not competing, but I was just wondering for future reference. I was not backseat modding, I was checking for clarification.
