Ehhhhhh. If I were you I'd go C2Q Q6600 and OC it to around 3.0Ghz for the same price as that C2D. I'd also recommend spending the little bit more and getting a Razer gaming mouse. Get a good motherboard for OCing if you go the Q6600 route. I'm not sure which they were, but I tihnk it was the P5 motherboards that OC well. I'm probably FAR off. It was some Intel mobo though.

Oh no no. ALL motherboards can OC, but I was just saying there's some that are really really good with the Q6600. If I come across the thread I had found somewhere else I'll let you know which motherboards they were.

I would go with a 780i motherboard, like PspKicks said go with a Q6600, and get at least an 8800GT for you gfx card (you can get those for about $140 now)

I've got an 8800 GT 1GB and it is really good on Crysis, I wouldn't recommend and models lower than the 8800's

Why have you already chosen a KB/Mouse? Thats the last thing you get, you can upgrade a KB/Mouse so much easier!

hmmm the site pretty good though i made  a super good one for $1340.00(maybe even way better than i will build...) on that site and but still i wana build my own because i dont wana wait for shipping(cause tigerdirect is near where i live) and i can easily get any support or anything from em/or get some parts exchanged.... thanks anyways....

now some of my plans are 780i mobo and 9800gt gfx card and the processor is the same as it was in my first post.. but i am thinking about a liquid cooling system and some cold neon :D but i may put my own neons(the leds that i have from modding psps).... i hope pc results in a good one....

thanks chase for this sig =)
