Direct TV or other usa satellite in the UK

does anyone here know how to go about getting direct tv satellite in the UK or another equivalent satellite service that offers the same sort of channels.

i already have skyHD with the premium package but i find that a bit boring with not much on to watch and since i prefer american tv i thought that would be the best way to go about getting more channels was to get some american satellite.

so does anyone know how to get direct tv in the uk or something similar.

 i guess my other option would be to get someone over there with a spare box or something to hook it up to a sling box so that i can get it over here?

i know im not american and im not trying to live a lie lol. i just prefer american tv all that the uk tv is is boring daytime tvshow after boring daytime tv show. gmtv followed by lk today followed by jeramy kyle folowed by thismorning followed by loose women etc etc. plus im sick of :censored:ing topgear re-runs - i hate not having a job as all i can do is sit and watch tv or be on my pc cos all my mates are in forking work

uhm watch less tv, more time for more interesting things, every day do something physical (an exercise), something that challenges you mentally (to expand the mind), and do something you really enjoy. live life to the fullest. so to conclude...less tv, more fun

what pax said,i dont even watch tv at all any more,i jsut work out instead,sometimes i put on kerrang or scuzz for music while i work out but thats about it
