Controller Drilling

ok im a cheap-o and i buy those radioshack buttons that are like 10 cents and there kinda big well im having trouble drilling i got the hole and the button in but it was like hard to do and when i go threw the case the controller span with the drill bit and whacked my right in the arm and cut me anyone know a easier way to do this

Yeah. Hold the controller and drill into it using a dremel. How hard is that to do?

yeh i held the controller hard im only 16 and im small i sound like im 12 anyway i did hold it and i had to make the drill go really fast or i would of been there all day but when it like right away broke threw the controller i started spinning and whacked me

start by drilling a small hole, then work your way up, increasing the bit size a bit every time, this should give a clean hole with little force needed on the controller

I know right! One of the big ones cost like 3.99 here. And the lil one in packs of 4 were almost the same...

pricey if you ask me, next time i'll just use all those spare parts that I have taken apart over the years...like cd players and stuff...they got some nice button. But you gotta desolder the pins first...I give this a try...
