Ok, i dunno if this is the right section or what, oh well....

If i have an HTML file, just a simple one like:

<HTML>
<HEAD>
<TITLE> MY WEB PAGE!
</TITLE>
</HEAD>
<BODY>
HELLO, WORLD!
</BODY>
</HTML>
How do i get that to show up on the internet, just as an offline page? I mean, what do i need to save it as, and then what do i need to type in the address bar to get it to work?

put that in a text file. save it as html in notepad. go to it in your internet browser so if it was in your hard drives root and you called it index you would point your web browser to C://index.html

Hmmm.. that just opened it up as a text file. I want it to be like a web site, where it should just print the title and the body.

If i remember correctly from my ICT classes at school there is a site that allows you to put is simple html codes and shows it up as a site. I cant remember what the nmae of the site was but check around am im sure you will find it. Its probably under something like 'HTML test site/HTML practice site'. Sorry if i cant be of more help but i hope you can find the site.

when you click on it, go up to file-open with- IE,Firefox,Safari w/e then it would work, but if you saved it as index.html then it sould be an internet link
