surround sound headset for 360?

i want to play my 360 through a headset, so the speakers on the tv dont put out sound, i just hear everything through the set. how would i do that?

I don't think you can do that...if it gets done though, I want to know how, too. Lol.
You would probably need to *somehow* make the audio cables for the 360 transmit wirelessly to a headset. At least, that makes sense... Lol.

i dissagree with kicks you can di it it will take a few supplies and some work,if you take the audio out from the xbox and run it through any device that that will increase the signal from the original to one that is strong enough to run the headphones(i use my cheap surround sound from walmart that has a headphone output)but all kinds of stuff would work stereo recievers guitar amps and probably even a psp with a lil thought,if you were to ask folklord i think the amp kit he just used for his speaker mod would work,,and if you want it wireless hook what ever you use to the wireless transmitter and you should be good

you can do it!. Buy a rca to headphone jack plug (3.5mm). I use one on my gaming chair to get the rca cables from the audio output on the tv to the audio input on the chair which is a 3.5mm plug.

I do that too.  I use it to output to my speakers.

An audio amp will do it with some head phones or the easiest way is to get some turtle beach headphones, or astro gaming head phones(these are very nice, but expensive). Or if your tV has a head phone out jack us it.

nah no headphone jack on the tv, but can someone link me to the turtle beach headset that will work for this? i dont really want to pay over 100$ but thanks for all the info.

i did have but mhawk134 got my last set, i can hook you up with a guy that gets them brand new, just the case or box their in is in bad shape, you can get brand new x3 for $70.  ones where cases were damaged in shipping, but the headsets are perfect.
