Power Led Swap
« on: September 08, 2008, 07:56:24 PM »
I'm tryin to do an power led swap and I want to make it bright like my PSP phat so is this the right resistor to bridge? (the resistor with green dot closest to power light.)

I have a small problem. The PSP isn't giving power to my LED ? i soldered the power led and it wont turn on for some reason.
EDIT: think i figured it out. The psp need to think there is a charge led to turn on the power led. I used the multi meter and touched the - of the charge contact and the power led worked.

No, you can't make it brighter. Any resistors that are for the power and charge are somewhere on the mobo.

This is what I got from searching and trial and error. If there is anyone who would like to correct me please do so.
