Redesigning a SMF Forum requires alot of time unless you use a premade one, and the one you see here is anything but premade

I love the design we have...and yeah tons of work for a new theme. Personally I see no reason for a theme, but whatever. I think acidmods should stay the same =P

Maybe in the future we could redesign it, but it would have to be done on an acidmods clone site first to work out the bugs

You can get neutral light colours also at night / in the dark its bad for your eyes to jsut have a monitor glow

Im up for the coding but nothing will be done unless we get a mass agreement from the majority of old members and we can all decide on a theme color set..

hey what about all that work that Robin did for us that we never used.... I liked that stuff and think we should revisit it, he put time and effort in.

i've seen on some sites they have a selection of themes and each user can select there preference...

Yeh see, there an a few of us that like light and other that like dark so you can have a setting that you can view the way it is now or the new theme, witch is light colours?

im up for a redesign but i lost all that stuff nic0 when i moved hosting and when i :censored:ed up my laptop.

what i think would be a good idea i think would be to have two themes (and actually have themes not an edited default) that members can choose. one light and one dark and also that means that if we wanted in the future it would be a lot easyier to add extra themes - especially if all the edits needed are documented.

here is a forum i installed a while ago but forgot about until recently - it was just for fun and to see what 2.0 was like. http://beardmods.com/forum/

WEll if it's okay with the rest of the members once the redesigned site has been uhm redesigned... I would like to take a shot at a banner that coincides with the theme Unless anyone disagrees or thinks they should be the oen to do it I dont mind Just a thought

I like dark colors more then light, but I would be up for a redesign. In fact I like the idea to be able to add more themes.

I'm cool with a redesign but I would still want this existing theme saved so I can come back to it when I want to.. I for one spend most of my time on AM in bed with the lights out, so a dark theme is a must...
