Besides him. No one mods ps3's because of a few things...they seem to break easily LOL, they're mostly not made anymore except 1 type for now, and there's no mods made for them.

I know im really new here and all, but that pisses me off. Your parents just buy you new crap whenever you break it? thats pathetic. How about you get a job, and earn that ps3 yourself. You'll appreciate it so much more if you do. And maybe learn how to solder on some less expensive objects, like playing around with old radios or something.
I bought my Xbox 360 with MY money, that I earned from working at a crappy fast food place. I take a lot of pride in my Xbox 360, because i put my hard earned money and a lot of mod time into it. I haven't done much soldering with it, because i don't have the cash (or the balls) to do that right now. But i have done the chip-less rapid fire mod on my controller. And i didn't just jump into it. I did a lot of research, and practiced on a few old electronic with smd leds. I also had experience from my original xbox, when a few traces had corroded, i had to repair it by soldering wires to bypass those traces.

Nobody gives a that your 14 either. It just makes you look stupid when you say that, because everyone knows that you want them to think that your "soooo smart" for your age. So quit bragging about your age and how your parents buy you new toys all the time, because it just pisses people off.

meh I have no ps3 because I happen to be a microsoft man... Also btw if my parents would buy me anything I wanted I wouldnt even care if you guys called me spoiled or not because I would be awesome. people like you annoy me so much, when you live on your own you won't be able to cry to mummy and daddy when you want to buy something... you'll have to do it yourself (and yes, that means PAYING for it yourself too). It's called life, get used to the concept or it'll screw you over later. I sit in my room and feel proud that i worked hard to get what i have, i bought a laptop, a PS3, games, a 400W stereo, my phone, my iPod, my music, everything. Why am i proud? Because it's my stuff, i earnt it. It makes me feel good that i can earn things for myself and NOT live off of charity. Earning the money yourself makes buying things like PS3s an achievement, something to be happy about.

Seriously, if your going to mod something, buy it your self. Like others say you will have more pride in what you do. For example, i buy all my consoles and PC stuff by working for it, cause if my parents bought it they would get pissed if i were to break it modding it. But its basically an addiction now, i have to mod all electronics, whether its hardware or software. I hate having things that look normal and like everyone else's. I think that my mods show that i actually enjoy the console, by actually spending time on it. Dont go around here bragging about "ohhhh ill show you, ill mod my crap and if it breaks who cares, ill just get another one from my parents" actually work for your stuff.....

I've done an led swap on the controller, but not on the console. i was thinking of using a fader board that we use on the psp and have a mix of blue and UV leds placed around the unit. however i need information on the mobo and where to find it's power points. Can't be too hard to pull off.

when i recieve my expiremental ps3, im gonna carve out the PLAYSTATION 3 out f the cover, and solder some bright blue leds onder it, also put blue leds in the disc drive. kinda like crakers
