Eject Button > Disc scratches?
« on: September 23, 2008, 01:44:47 PM »
Hi, when i press my eject button on my 360 the disc tray comes out, but my disc makes a scratching noise as if it has'nt fully stopped spinning when it comes out... Its only started happening, its 11 months old Elite.

Has anyone else had this problem, or have got some advice? Thanks

i think there is a fix/anti game scrathing solution  :dntknw:  were you stick small rubber pads on you rdisk tray or something, try looking at llama.com i think that is where i saw the tutorial.

Could also be a dust/lint build up on the rubber pad, circling the spindle, which grabs the disc. When that gets dirty, it lets the disc slip on the spindle, resulting in a "screaching" sound.
