usb keyboard motorola q?

I have a usb computer keyboard setting her collecting dust. could i split the cable on that and a mini-b usb cable and plug it into my q and use it as an external keyboard?

it all matters if the motorolla q can recognize it, i dont think so as that port is usually only made for charging and syncing with computer.
I highly doubt it but try it if u want with a crappy keyboard.

yeah, i really doubt the Q can recognize it as the port was not made for that...

hey if you not using it mideswell give it a try.as long as it isnt some expencive ass keyboard. What is a Q btw? A cell phone?

its a motorola smartphone, voted best smartphone of the year in 2006 i think..

ah well it is supposed to be a smart phone it should be smart enough to recognize the deivce  :hifive: na seriously though if the keyboard isn't awesome just a plain old keyboard that isn't in use it can't hurt to try besides you could always just reconnect it back to the original wire and it would work just like it did :x:
