But holy crap, that's coming along quite nicely!!!! It looks so awesome! I don't know why, it just LOOKS and screams awesome. I love it!

I think its a awesome idea, allows you to have plug and play action with every single thing inside the psp through the breadboards.

Haha, Well first I am going to attempt to get tv out working, and wire up/mount a dsub connector and shroud for the vga output.
And then the second thing will be something for cyber.

Yeah, they will be interfaced with an array of tact switches, and a ps2 controller.

okay second update..

I knocked a glass of water off a high shelf onto the motherboard, so my replacement is arriving today.
Secondly, my parts from farnell are arriving today, so I should get it finished ASAP.

I am also picking up a laser printer, and a laminator today. + karma to anyone that can tell me what they would be used for.

Are you going to print out some kind of layout for the d-pad or (X [] /\ O) buttons, laminate it and some how connect this to the mobo?

haha so thats what you were soldering. How'd you do one of em in 40 secs, legand. Um is the backlight on the wrong side? Oh and btw sell those and make a fortune.

Yeah backlight is on the wrong side.
I don't think there would be enough interest, I could make one with out the breakout ability much smaller, and neater.
I will move the backlight for version 2 if I make one.
If anyone that seriously wants one would post then I will see.

For this project I will hardwire the backlight.
I have some 6 pin connectors for the backlight (4 pins were out of stock) but sadly they won't fit.

Anyone from the USA want to sell me some 0.8mm Copper Clad?

I am going to try and make a wireless version with quad bi laterals and a PIC.

And yeah, prototyping!
