Tricky Mod
« on: October 20, 2008, 08:51:32 PM »
Wy dream psp would look like this:

-Solid Orange leds that light up the AC port, Headphone and serial ports, and the usb port.
-Green lm386 sound reactive leds in the triggers, and speaker holes on the trim.
-Green Fading leds in Behind the silver ring.
-solid Green leds behind the joystick

-All orange leds activated by the hold switch.

-all green ones acitvated by the wifi switch.

Kind of like this:
Front and Back...

Top...

Bottom...

Do you think that it would look good? Would be enough room to fit the leds behind the headphone and serial ports and if there would be enough room inside for the fader and the lm386 without removing the UMD drive. This will probably never happen but I just wanna know if it would even be possible in the first place in case I ever get around to doing it. Thanks All.

P.S. I found all of these original pictures on the internet. I photoshopped them to add the glow from the triggers and such.

that looks awesome. Not sure If a analog glow is posible because there isnt anywhere to mount a led under it.

To all of you crying about lag and kicks, remember… when Jesus died, took him 3 days to respawn. Now THAT is lag.

you also could use one of those clear psp analog sticks you get at DX, just swap the analog cap with the black one. that sould give you a nice glow.

A cooler idea, is to have a PIC and 8 leds, that light up depending on the direction the analog is pushed.
