Idea for speaker mod

ok, so you got the two speakers at the bottom. one is left one is right...
well my idea was that you could have those two speakers and then have a center speaker in the back. that would be cool.
i have the speaker already. i just need to know how to hook it up so i could have it be a center speaker. and have the ther two left and right speakers work
anybody wanna try it and make a tut for me that would b sweet or tell me how i would do it and i will try

Agreed with Treemty.
Just take the + from both of the regular psp speakers and wire them to the + for the new center speaker, and take the - from both and wire that to the - on the new one.
It should power it no problem, but you're going to want an amp to make it louder.

What taking both of them does, is make the back speaker mono (as opposed to left or right only, it plays both) so that you've got your right and left (psp speakers) and then the big center one is mono, since it's neither left nor right.

Don't spam, I already said that. I said to use an amp for better sound.


OP, you don't have to use an lm386. There's other better amps out there, also. The lm386 is just a cheap, effective, and usable option that you can get at your local radioshack.

well  then you need to add some resistors to the amp. Or you can add a 100uf capacitor on the + lead from the amp to the speaker. This will make it so that it dosent sound like
