need more information, what rapid fire, whats wrong with the controller (if not known, what symptoms)

well when i try using the controller i click the middle button to scan for the xbox but it just flashes and doesnt conect to the xbox and i didnt know there was different types of rapid fire please explain ??

Did you try holding the sync button on the xbox then the controller.......?
