I'm guessing you painted over a stock chrome controller with a very detailed and intricate masking job.I am so going to do this on my next controller.I love seeing new ideas.
Yes that Is correct start it out as a Gold Shell and than Using the Cameo Cutter Did the Design than Cut it on Peal Paper, stick and than Primer paint , Peal the paper and Clear Coat Note: Do have to mess and play with the Cutting Software or it will cut out Everyhting and don;t look right also when you cut make sure leave a bit Extra like Tabs so when the tape is cover by Primer and Paint you know where it is to Peal http://www.afterschool.com/p/silhouette-cameo-starter-bundle-cutter-522437?site=CA&utm_source=Google&utm_medium=cpc_as&utm_term=FPS-56320&utm_campaign=GoogleAW&CAWELAID=1602887664&utm_content=pla&adtype=pla&cagpspn=pla<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/qwnuP3Gfc1M" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
