Just got done with this, many of you may remember me from my other account but this controller is just basic , I'm running low on supplies in fact I used my last chip ,this controller has BMU 3 with burst option , thanks hazer!right now it's going on Craigslist to help support my other hobby(pocket bikes)

I just got back into Xbox modding after years, and I love it. Idk how alive the Xbox 360 modding community still is now a days, but it's fun.

I'm gonna re-do this symmetrical controller with more responsive buttons and I'm gonna locate them better. Other than that, it works great and was pretty easy to do. I just wish controllers were cheaper to buy, I got this one off ebay a long time ago for $6, now they're $30+

Both these have white 0603 leds in their ROL, and I'm currently cutting holes in my Halo Reach's console's side for a window and more LEDs.

this is one of my recent controllers, it has a 3mode rf chip in it that spurgurgle gave me and it has tactiles on the bottom that replace the L3 and R3 functions from the thumbsticks. it has all blue leds in the dome, rol and trim. still need to find a good way to light up the d-pad as it has the original bottom plate on it so i cant light it up the same as in spurgs d-pad tut.

try making 4 small holes int the houseing in the front half of the case and putting 0603's in them so they shine sideways onto the d-pad.....

i did it once with 2x 3mm leds it worked ok but 4 0603s would be better

I'm guessing you painted over a stock chrome controller with a very detailed and intricate masking job.

I am so going to do this on my next controller.

if that is your plan Hazer they make a automotive tape that is fine line so you will not get a big tape line where the edge of it will be masked off, IF i remember right its about $15 bucks a roll.

Yes that Is correct start it out as a Gold Shell and than Using the Cameo Cutter Did the Design than Cut it on Peal Paper, stick and than Primer

paint , Peal the paper and Clear Coat

Note: Do have to mess and play with the Cutting Software or it will cut out Everyhting and don;t look right

also when you cut make sure leave a bit Extra like Tabs so when the tape is cover by Primer and Paint you know where it is to Peal
