Need help flashing my hitachi drive
« on: November 02, 2008, 08:33:26 AM »
I am able to get my 360 into modeb, and then get it recognized by vista, but every time I try to dump the firmware using 360 FW toolbox 4.6, I get a run-time error 6; overflow. Can anyone help me.

I plugged my SATA cables directly into my motherboard, but if its not dosflash compatible, will I get this error?
Just a thought as I was doing this.

Running as an Admin won't fix an overflow error...lolol.
And, don't double post.

you might want to try a quick google search of something like "FW toolbox error 6 in vista" or something, you might get more hits that way.
Good luck.
