5.00 m33-3 problems
« on: November 05, 2008, 10:51:08 AM »
Hi,
I updated to this cfw, and I thought everything was going to be fine but something had to go wrong. Now all my PSX games don't work, I already installed popsloader 5.00 but it didn't help because I still can't play them. I also encounter problems for PSP games such as for Tekken Dark Resurection, it used to work but now I get the following message "Game couldn't get started. (80020148)"
Is there any way to solve these problems?

have you tried to change the kernel to 1.5?  try that and see if it works.

i meant change the kernel in the recovery menu to 1.5 or try using popsloader.

Yea, Ghost is right just boot up your PSP holding the right trigger and go to Configuration, then scroll down to Game folder homebrew and  change it so it says 1.50 kernel. Also check that the UMD mode is either on Sony NP9660 -NO UMD- or the M33 driver. If it's not then most homebrew and your games won't work.
