Quick help!!!! Memory fuse?

Not 100% why, but whilst installling LED's to a friends slim PSP, suddenly, the memory stick stops reading, it reads fine in any other PSP, whenever you put ANY memory stick in this psp, the memory activity LED just flashes every like 2 seconds constantly, everything else works fine, just stopped

I checked the contacts, they are clean, checked contacts with a multimeter, they are working fine, checked memory sticks actually touch contacts, I have no idea why it doesnt work

Is there a 'memory stick fuse' at all?

Help quickly please, the guy paid me in advance to finish it tonight

i have a mobo with the same proble but sadly no there is no way to fix it
