I love in Windows Vista.

I have typed this whole thing by just talking to my computer.  Vista has built in voice recognition.  All it takes is sometime in practice and you can talk to  documents .  You can run everything on your computer running this voice recognition.

It's actually really pretty accurate, I've used it a few times before and even showed it to one of my friends (he just got a new dell lappy. He said it makes looking @ porn a lot easier

i actually like vista's built in voice rec. its just as good as the OSX one, but i seldom use (though i'd like to more) because im used to keyboard with my macros, and there can often be interference sound..t.v., games, basement full of incarcerated hippies, music..


so yes, vista's is good and works rather nicely

Works alright but the thing is I can type faster than I can speak so it makes it kinda redundant plus the obvious grammar and spelling issues.

i have it but cant use it often cos i use my laptop in noisy environments.

and boxman, sounds like you just need to look after your computer's software more. defrag, registry clean, disk cleanup etc.
