Switches

I have recently purchased a xcm core cooler v2 for my xbox 360.  I am wondering if it would be possible to add a toggle switch to it to make it only run at certain time.  As you know the core cooler takes power from the dvd drive and i only want to use the fans at times instead of continuously.  http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3104291 here is the switch i was planning on using.  If it is possible to do this how would i do it.

 My plan was to add the swith where i have the pic circled.
