It's a dell isint it?

If it is it has a restor partition on the harddrive. But that is most likley corupt as well. You will need to call dell they will remotly access your PC to determen what the problem is and if the restore partition is shot they will mail you the os disk you call them back they walk you through your reinstall.

If it's not a dell I'm not sure what there procedure will be. But I can tell you you will have a hard time getinf rid of the virus with out a reinstall. But if you do find away to reinstall before you do any thing buy an antivirous/spy ware software load it run all the updates. Then when you go to upload all your crap on your flash drive back on to the computer scan it first to be sure that your not uploading the same virus back on.

Any typo's are due to typing this on my phone

Find out what virus it is (use a friend's comp to use the Internet), get Avast! or some other Anti-virus software, install it if you can and have the Anti-virus run on startup.

If you don't mind losing all info on your comp you could do a reformat and clean install.

I agree A Nuke and Repave.. But That Restore CD you Have is a Windows Restore CD IE the Formatting Disc. SO either run a Virus scanner and See if you can do anything about it. OR Save what you can Then Nuke and Repave..

For the awesome Sigs Thanks goes to: Blazinkaos, Chef Boyardee
