lol I did the same thing only used my PS2 controller's thumbsticks.

Are they PS2 or PS3 style?

if they are PS2/PS3 then the installation should be the same.

Just put them on just like the original 360 thumbsticks were but now when they go through the hole for the top of the controller your going to have to align them up correctly and force them through. Forcing them through wont damage them at all(well as far as i know i took mine apart like 15 times since i installed them and no damage done).

I hope This helps ^_^

ohh ok so they PS3 ones gotcha.
mine are the PS2 one's there not black there more a medium Grey but those are black.
Think of it as the normal 360 thumbstick only with a rounded top.
So the gap is the same and  its pretty easy to install.

At first they were weird because they were different but i got accustomed to them.
With the stock Thumbsticks i noticed i actually re-grip them. With these i did at first but as if now i barely catch my self doing that.
I Love mine but i wish i have them in black instead of Grey because my controller is all black :-(
but other than that i Love them and will stick with them and hopefully you like them aswell

I'm using some ps2 nubs from my damaged ps2 controller. I like the feel better then the regular 360 nubs.
