Compatibility Question-Please Help!

I've got a PSP Fat running 5.00 M33-4. I've heard that part of the 5.00 OFW update was to make all PSPs recognize a 16 gb memory stick pro duo. I was going to buy one, but I don't know if the M33 update had that feature as well. I'm out a ton of money if its not compatible. Will mine recognize the 16 gb stick?

It should because Dark_AleX doesn't do alot to create the custom firmware, he just lets you access the kernal and he adds in the recovery and vsh menu. For awhile when everybody was asking if 8gb sticks had compadibility issues, my friend was using one just fine.
