Datel getting sued by Sony?
« on: January 11, 2009, 03:46:29 PM »
Well here we go Datel is now being sued by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe over their Lite Blue Tool.
The reason is that the PSP 3000 required a chip that was encrypted to be put into service mode, Datel unencrypted the chip and then tryed to sell it which is illegal.
We are unsure as of yet how much sony is trying to sue Datel for.
Here are the words from Datel.
"Due to legal action made by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe we are currently not able to fulfill orders for the Lit Blue Tool Battery. Any orders recieved for this product have not been processed and no cherges have been made. We will inform customers about avaliability of this product when this situation has been resolved."
