Resistance

I've got a quick question on a mod I'm going to do. For the Direct contact LED mod for the phat, How much resistance would I need with blue 0603 leds? Thanks for any help

By direct contact, I'm guessing your trying to make them sound reactive....for that you don't need any resistance but if you want them turned on all the time, you'll need a 10R resistor.

To help you out in the future this is the equation you use to work out the resistance:

V = I x R

V=Volts
I=Current
R=Resistance

Direct contact sound reactive trigger leds and ROL, 1 in each trigger and 4 total in the UMD door. All controlled by a dip switch in the side trim. Blue color all around for all of the LEDS.

Yeah you don't need any resistors...Just solder em on. Can't wait to see the pics!

Yeah, I need to save a little more, my lcd got fried during a power surge, so I had to buy a new one (also, I'm sure It isn't the backlight fuse, because it's only part of the screen that's gone black.

Let me guess your parents went ape sh*t at you for breaking it and your trying to fix it as quickly as possible to prove all is well ? I've been in a few situations like that with my computer XD
