Ok, so I'm back. Drunken mebeam parties will resume shortly. Who is running under the name SYSTEM? There has been some serious changes since ive been gone. I'd sure like to have my R&D status back.... That actually meant a lot to me. Is there even anyone here I know anymore? Surely Bud hasn't left the site.... or RA1N... or kicks? Fufa? Slim? Anyone?

Bud, Ra1n, and I are here. Slim...? Fufa was here for today and I think he's leaving again.

Right now, SYSTEM is Cyber. The site is run jointly by Robin(Mactastic Mendez) and Cyber(SYSTEM) now.

And yeah I'm not going anywhere. In the time you were gone, I've been global mod twice. Once I was fired XD and the other time I stepped down(About maybe 2 weeks ago, actually. But my sense of time sucks lol).

And as far as I know, R&D is really pointless now. So, I don't think you're missing out on much.
Work on something? I'm making a custom iHome once I order parts. Building a comp too. Made an external module for auto whammy for gh guitars.
Have you done anything sweet in your down time?

and id love to put you back in r/d not much goes on there anymore and it'd be good to have a good member in there.

Been doing the netbook scene. Had 2 different Eee Pc's and I am typing this on an acer aspire one. Modded the hell out of all of them. Working on a new tech blog (www.techno-holics.com) I'll

the site out later. Once I've re-established my rep with all these younglings around.

About the R&D thing. I built my mods to prove I was good enough for it. It doesn't matter if it's pointless. I earned it, and was proud of it. I still want it. heh.

Oh, by the way, pvp_lostknight followed me to the Eee Pc forums and almost got lynched because of his tablet mod. I seriously thought someone was going to go find him and kick him in the jewels.

nah that was slimby

kicks got demoted in the big re-order, he was still global, but then there was a big thing about attitude problems, and he lost that, but R&D isn't determined on attitude problems...

we had such a perfect R&D system before, then edhel and the area-51 fiasco pretty much wrecked everything, its almost back to normal now though

edit: Ok so i checked the R/D guidelines and kicks meets all the criteria.....except ive never actually seen a tutorial by him.....and the very last one is "Exellent ability to make a tutorial" or something.

Meh. They could have been better.

On the plus side, bluetooth and wireless host technology has advanced in the last year. So we should be able to kick out something worth wowing the world again. I haven't given up on true internal bluetooth communication. It will happen someday.

Anyway. So. i've been gone for a year or so. What new mods stand out that I should know about? I've seen the internal 3100 (and already got one on order). but what else?

Well there's all that stuff with the Spitfire mod's on 360 controllers that cyber and kingmike developed.

I'm not sure if tec_'s el wire psp was before you left, i think it was....

i put the pulse vu 2 in a ds lite, but then, f00 did that : \

its hard to know what came before and after you left lol

I left shortly after Tec's mod hit the scene. I tried to simply fade out of the scene so that nobody would really notice.

yeh i would love it if people started to brainstorm ideas again in R&D and work together on mods as thats what made the site what it is. i just dont have the time to try and get people to do that with focusing on the site as a whole with owning it now and my university work
