Even the newest WINe has bad support. There's not a ton of apps that even work with it.
Hell, iTunes and AIM don't even work!

i have aircrack in backtrack 3. so i dont think ill need it for ubuntu. and if WINe was better and worked with actual apps i use then i might download it.

but since itunes and AIM are 2 of my main programs....then yeh.

There's viruses, but they only work if you Super User and let them in because the root files are locked =]

gtkpod - syncing iPod
XMMS or VLC - multimedia playback suite
Amarok or Songbird - iTunes alternatives
pidgin - IM client, comes pre-installed
Beagle - Desktop search app
WINE - for the few windows apps that DO NOT have complements on linux
VMWare Player - use it to run virtual OS's

Guys, Ubuntu should not be a "use WINE"-Windows replacement. It's an entirely different OS that has native apps that works just as well or better than those found similarly in Windows.
