psp 1000 power problem

charging with battery o.k switch on  without battery o.k but switch on using battery did not power
can one do this?

    It sounds like your battery might be the problem, not holding charge enough to fully power on the psp. Try putting another battery in and see how that turns out

is it a thrid party battery? maye one o those 3600mah ones? because alot of my third party ones after a period of use just stoped charging or holding current, which is why i converted them into AAA battery mods. now if only i could figure out where the  service mode chip is on the thridy party ones   :dntknw:
