NEED HELP FIXING BOYFRIENDS PSP!

ok, my brother had my boyfriends psp and supposedly he dropped it and now it wont turn on, basically when i charge it, the power light lights up orange for a couple of seconds then turns off, then i try to turn the psp on and each time i switch the power light, it flashes green. how can i fix this? please help

Did you crack the screen? My friend's PSP had the same problem. He cracked his screen and after that the green light just flashes green and turns off.

from what i can tell, the screen isnt cracked....maybe something on the inside? if anyone knows what could be wrong or how to fix it please help!

We will try to help, but you must understand, it's hard for us to tell exactly whats wrong with it if we can't see the console. However, it might be the powerboard (PB) or the PB connection to the Mobo is damaged. you could try replacing that part with a new one to see if that would solve your problem. there pretty cheap on ebay, like a few bucks or so.

There is also a chance that a fuse is blown
Ie: Power fuse

   I hate to announce that base on past experience with such problematic symptoms, when psp's tend to drop to the ground, the problem winds up being the mobo. The only fix is replacing the mobo.

my friend did the same thing dtoppping it and just fo :censored:its and gigs I tried my pandoras and it worked fine( but only as a temperrary fix) after 1-2 months it did the samething but by that time I was able to get a new mobo

If you didn't already know, a mobo is a MotherBoard. You'll have to either open up his PSP and buy a replacement. Or, if the warrenty is still avalible, send it to Sony and help the economy.
