Laptop CPUs are soldered in and can not be replaced
Going to order the new processor tomorrow. Called a few of my friends up and asked them about it, and got the same response I wanted. So a new 2.6 GHz processor it is!Also, PsychoticWolf, its an ATI Radeon X1200 series GPU, with about 1.4 GB of video memory. Not sure what the chipset on the mobo is. Not even sure where to find that out at.
I tried looking for the Overclocking Guru on Google and Yahoo, and never found it. I DID download both CPUZ and GPUZ. Both work great, now I am looking for the software to overclock with. Any suggestions?
Looks like the chipset is also an ATI. I should have figured.Mainboard:Chipset: ATI RS690/RS690MSouthbridge: SB600Update: Checked out the Guru3d site. Very nice, will peruse through it. Also, my processor is a socket AM2 (940). Do you know of any faster processors that will fit in the socket with a 45 watt power consumption?
