BROKEN MEMORY CARD SLOT

  I repair/replace parts on psps and the only thing that I dont know how to replace is the memory card slot.
and what do ya know, thats whats broken on my slim.
please help me.
I'm been struggling with this problem for months.

If its on a phat your best bet is to just get the whole WIFI/MEMCARD board off ebay instead of trying to desolder and solder back a new slot.

Well it's not on a phat. It's a slim. On a slim, the memstick thing is attached directly to the motherboard. It would help if you'd explain the problem in a little more detail. There may be a simple fix. But if not, you may just have to replace the motherboard.
