Right well I reinstalled vista and with that I want a new look, a glass/crystal type deal.

I tried to apply a glass theme which requires you to patch something, Anyway that didnt work

1680x1050

After that I did various things to get as close as possible, at present my windows maximised or not are aero glass styled

Although blurred not clear.

How do I make it totally clear instead of a blurred type thing?
How do i make the taskbar totally clear? Or replace it with one that is?
Where can i get a crystal look skin for rkLauncher?
What would be a good wallpaper to go with a glass theme?
What kinda cursor should I use?

After scanning deviant art and various parts of the intranetz trying to figure it out for myself I thought I might aswell Just ask here

Double Post.

Right i purchased WindowBlinds and downloaded that theme.
However whenever I try to apply it, The taskbar and menus revert to classic, Any ideas?

you have to wait like, ten mintues then they change...
or you can hit right click on ur desdktop, properties
then go to theme or whatever and then you pick the *your theme here*

Anyway, I ended up applying visual styles, Not as crystal clear but clear nonetheless.

I jsut need to Sort out my Dock, Programs, Start up programs, Notification Tray, Cursor, Icons, Boot screen etc etc...

Treemty, it doesn't take 10min to change a theme. It will take about 30sec to a minute to change it and then it's done. If it doesn't show, there's a problem.

I dont usually use MSN, one time I got carried away with emotioncons and crashed my computer from downloading a virus, I was in the middle of talking to my friend, clicked on a emotioncon, and computer go black

I only use it to talk with some of my friends in Brazil

B4 I download a theme, I should always read what to do, I almost broke my computer again by screwing up big time XD, I put the files in the wrong place and it wont work, then I wanted to delete the file cuz I gave up hope on it, it came in with a bunch of junk, I went to uninstall it and I accidently removed some important files >.<
Good thing my comp didnt get

up from the huge screw ups
Lesson- Dont

around with your computer files unless your sure what they are >.<
