Has anyone done a hold breath mod

for cod sniping, has anyone managed to make it so when you press the scope it automaticaly takes a breath? just wondering.

yes, i have one setup with a button like rf, press it once it zooms and holds, press it again and it will hold breath.

the hold breath is from the tact switch under the anolog switch, so solder an additional 2mm tact switch the the origional one, force this new 2mm tact under the left trigger pivot point, so when you pull the left trigger, it is normal, and when you pull it all the way, it activates the scope and then the hold breath.

never done it just therory.

I have made a chip that does this already and I guess Mike and I never got around to putting it up for sale.  If this is something you would like Ghost_Death, I can have Nico add it to the new store. For that matter if people think it is something that they would like to see as a product let us know.

Another good way to do it just put a tact switch on the bottom of the controller that does the hold breath function similar to what matt said, and just press that instead of the stick. 

Also FYI there is a controller option where the left trigger is a toggle for zoom on/off in the options for COD:W@W, I am assuming it is also in COD4. So instead of holding the trigger you press once for zoom and again to un-zoom

LOL what is that supposed to mean?? is that a challenge?? LOL in theory it should work, the 2mm switch will fit, I have seen it done for rapid fire. (evil controllers cod4 model) the timing may be an issue though.
I bet it would work though. wana go double or nothing, from the last bet we made LOL

hahaha yup double or nothing. The more I think about it, the better the idea sounds as it would make the trigger have different functions depending on how far you pull it. Light pull zooms, and heavy pull zooms/holds breath.  In a Rapid fire situation it would be light pull fires, heavy pull rapid fires... hmm me likey

for some reason I dont see Matt as much of a sniper..... you dont get as high of a score as Matt has by sniping all the time

LOL, I dont think I have ever used the sniper..HAHAHA!!! maybe once or twice LOL.. I just like the mod. I am mechanical by nature, so if it can be accomplished with mechanics I am all over it. when time delays and puslating cycles are involved I get confused, but I tend to get it done anyway.

I will do it and post pics tomarrow.
