this looks and sounds easy, but I have seen many people burn out leds and things of the nature, remember what I said in the other thread tin the wire and just touch the led.

And yeah i read your instructions. thanks for the help.  Im actually going to solder it probably in an hour or so

either i need to scrape some of the enamel coating off of the wire, or buy some of the other type coated ones that can just be stripped.

I'm really set on buying a kit now after messing with all this  :censored:

I know its better to buy a kit here than off of ebay but would it take really long to get it off of the shop here?

unfortanately we are waiting on getting new boards for the rapidfire kits so if you are in a hurry ebay will def be faster.

that wire is a pain, it is really made for wrapping your own coils I believe.

i put the wired through the opening on the metal thing poking out of the button.  then twisted it with the other side. is that right??

and it looks kinda redish but i stripped the coating

you dont want those wires to touch each other if they do it will auto fire. dont strip too much wire only 1/8 inch stick in hole apply drop of solder. you will push this button to fire rapidly. one end goes to the LED the other goes to the center pin of the trigger

they will go diff directions, but they still could touch. keep it how it is and drop a small bit of solder on it, then cut off the loose wire, toe nail clippers come in handy here

soldered it right i think.

Before i actually go soldering it into the controller i wanted to make sure it works so i pressed the wires against the solder points and its not working???

as justin said, you must push the button to rapid fire.

when you connect both wires (one to led and one to middle pin) nothing should happen. when it is conected and you push the button, it will rapid fire.

ther eis another way you may find easier, cut off the rumble plug, cut the black wire very short so it wont touch anything, tape it if you must. solder the red wire to the push button, and the other wire to the center pin..

check:
1) you do have a matrix controller
2) your batteries are not full atleast one bar should be missing, when you look at the top of the menu
3) the play and charge cable must not be pluged in (if equiped)
