I don't really know what I think the best is, but the 12v bridge mod is a good one I think bc its easy, it costs basically nothing to do and is the most effective for preventing the RROD.

Find out what kind of MOBO you have and go here and do as it says:) It will make you rear fan 12v instead of 5v and help to prevent RROD!

Well, besides the cooling mod, (third fan add on), I would like to say the flashing of the dvd drive.

I would have to say, the best mod is the 360 laptop. that is one nice piece of hardware, and for $10,000 you can have one too. but you must wait in line..who buys someting like that?? WOW, it looks great, but I am not dropping 10k on an xbox

its in this months issue of oxm I will write the editor agian now that I have his direct line see if I can get the details. but yea, 10K !!!

borrowing a game from a friend and burning it on a 4.00 dollars disc = 4.00 dollars

saving yourself 56.00 for somthing else = priceless

as sniper stated, we are on topic, and firmware is a mod. you are correct, I am a moderator, and have been watching this thread for it to go into the illigal side, which it has not. Kicks, you are the one who corrected me of the open discussion rules, months ago.

Illigal downloading as I stated above is copyright infringment and could carry a 10year prison term. we are not telling anyone to do it, nor are we telling anyone how to do it. sniper is just incriminating himself..LOL
