I had this spare controller that I thought was broken, so this stupid idea poped into my head. This mod is not about the look or feel in any way, SO DON'T LEAVE COMMENTS SAYING THAT CONTROLLER WON'T BE COMFORTABLE TO USE!
Its about making a controller which allows me to basically test any other controller on the xbox 360. Basically using the original controller as a bridge to convert the data to a form which the 360 can read.

I have only just started, so...

Firstly I thought I had lots of space with rumbles removed. So I decided on 2, 15 pin d sockets

got a bunch of male ones so I can make controllers

opened the controller

began the mod, cut down the rumble braces

marked my socket cut

Drilled it out

time to start shaping

woot made it fit

begun wiring the sockets

decided heat shrinking in pairs would half the confusion once in the controller

done the wiring

done so far

Will update.

Little preivew of back

Nice idea. So basically wire all the female connectors up to the xbox controller points, then on each controller you want to connect you wire a male socket to all the controller points on that?

Sig by Kenshinffx - Thanks!

yea basically. You just need to rewire the controller you wan't to test to two male sockets with the same pinout, and you're set.
