The Embodiment of Hope
« on: April 15, 2009, 09:39:01 PM »
Some of you here know me,  And Some of you do not.

Those of you who do know me, know my Music background and what I am involved in...  I come to you today,  With a big smile on my face.

Those of you who got to see the shocker on the day it released are blessed,  I was beyond shocked at this..

This old lady,  Susan Boyle..   The epitome of "Crazy Aunt Bessie" went onto Britain's Got Talent,  and everyone was ready to laugh her off the stage,   She Opened her mouth,  And gave proof..   That one should never be judged by how they appear.

Susan Boyle - Singer - Britains Got Talent 2009 (With Lyrics)

On that note,  For an Amateur,  This was Powerful,  On pitch,  On tune..   And she captured the imagination and the hearts of the audience...

What a treat....

That's exactly what I said...   She nailed it..   She isn't classically trained,  But she definitely did the song justice

This song is From Les Miserables,   It's sung by a Character called Fatine,   She is a Courtesan,  Or a Prostitute..

She's singing about the hopes she had when she was younger,  And how they are dashed and destroyed and she's been defiled and never got to be who she dreamed to be..

Here are the Lyrics that Susan Sang..

"I dreamed a dream in time gone by
When hope was high
And life worth living
I dreamed that love would never die
I dreamed that God would be forgiving.

Then I was young and unafraid
And dreams were made and used
And wasted
There was no ransom to be paid
No song unsung
No wine untasted.

But the tigers come at night
With their voices soft as thunder
As they tear your hope apart
As they turn your dream to shame.

And still
I dream he'll come to me
That we will live the years together
But there are dreams that cannot be
And there are storms
We cannot weather...

I had a dream my life would be
So different form this hell I'm living
so different now from what it seemed
Now life has killed
The dream I dreamed."

It was the perfect song..   IT FIT HER
