Turn a Official Sony PS2 Controller Wireless?

I really never knew why Sony did not come out with a official wireless DS2. Is there any way, If can get a wireless receiver part of a PS2 controller, then add a PIC and flash it to read the wireless signal from the wireless transmitter from the PS2?

I have always wanted a official looking wireless PS2 controller (yes I still use PS2 slim cause I am PS3 and 360'less)

Sony did make an official wireless controller, it's just that it's not that well known.  Hang on let me see if I can find it.

Meh, it's not really about the controller (well it is lol) but more for something to mod.

BTW thats not by Sony it's another brand that just sorta looks like the official controller with a glob of extra of plastic between the analog sticks.

Sure doesn't look like a real DS2 to me.

The analogs are grey and Sony never used grey analogs, only black, also the D- pas is one piece and light grey, and the buttons are grey too and cheap looking, there is also an extra blob of plastic between the analogs and an extra button where the Start Select Analog buttons are. There is also a cross pattern under the D-pad and action buttons unlike the other one.

I hope you realize adding wireless technology would INCREASE the size of the controller...

Also, using branding like the logo and such would be copyright infringement last time I checked.

It's still not made by SONY, also maybe they bought copyright permission from Sony, but zi don't see the name "SONY" on the top ether, also maybe they got around the copyright thing cause that PS looks pretty sloppy, also Sony has NEVER used a fully exposed 1 piece d-pad, they have always made it look like 4 separate buttons, they also never used gray analogs before or gray buttons.

Lol I'm telling you guys it's a look-alike controller.

Also yeah sure it's gonna add size, but have you ever seen the inside of a PS2 controller? there's WAY more then enough space to fit a wireless module.

Well... if its an officially licensed product then it should work perfectly. If its a "knockoff made by some other company" then that means that 90% of the available library is a "knockoff made by some other company" All games for the ps2 are either made by sony or officially licensed by sony. its a sony product. Sony put there stamp o' approval on it. thats how it works.

here... you need some scissors, and a gumball. chew the gumball and then cut the cable of the wired dualshock 2 as close to the controller as you can get it.  there you go, wireless dualshock 2 ^_^
