Hello everyone, before I start, I have done this:
searched "vu meter" and "sound mod" neither have shown what I wanted
Second, I know this is mainly specifically for phats (fat) but I wanted a more general audience to see this thread.
Ok now, I was following the stereo LED mod using two LM386 amp's. I see that both support separate LEDs on either of the amp's, so I was thinking of setting up Hawk's vu meter (
https://www.acidmods.com/forum/index.php?topic=29983.0) to one of the amp's (possibly the right speaker). This is a rough modified diagram with the addition of the vu meter (LEDs excluded in the picture).
Basically I would like to know if this is a correct setup, or if I need to add/subtract a few things to get this working properly. I'm sorry if it is obvious but I do not have sufficient knowledge to make educated guesses, which is why I'm asking.
