NO DON'T DO IT! Plumbing flux has acid in it, which will corrode your PSP's motherboard.

what kind of flux do i need then

What about this one

http://cgi.ebay.com/Soldering-BEST-Paste-Flux-Nokorode-Cleans-While-Fluxing_W0QQitemZ270381116702QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item3ef3f86d1e&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205|66%3A4|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A0|293%3A1|294%3A200
Yeah, that looks good.
Just make sure to read the description carefully to check if it's corrosive or anything, and you should be just fine.

Theres two different types of flux I use, the yellowy one and the greaselike one, thing is with the yellow one its very hard so you can damage leds and wires and what not trying to get it onto it, but the greaselike one is much easer

Heres the one I use

Yeah I'm serious. I've heard people use toothpicks and stuff, but I wanted to make sure.

I use tweezers but I should stop doing that lol since it destroys them, I will be using toothpicks instead (Didnt really think about that..)

But thing is, since the one above is more greaselike, you can just dip the led in or touch it on a toothpick (Its that soft)

Well yeah, it says that it is made with petroleum jelly so I'd guess it's about the same thickness.

So the one above you've used with no problems right? Because I wanted to buy some good, trusted brand flux, but most places won't ship out of the US due to toxic stuff or something. BUT, if the DX stuff works, then I might as well buy it. It's only 3 bucks anyway.

I normally use the non-lighting end of a matchstick. If you get the corner of the matchstick on the flux it does a great job of application.
