How to cut a CD cover to fit PSP door hole perfectly? HELP
« on: June 07, 2009, 04:33:47 AM »
Hey people...
Finaly I've started to mod my psp...
I've cut my psp door, and now I want to put fiberglass (CD cover) in the hole I've done.
How should I cut it to fit perfectly the hole?? :dntknw:

And other thing, I have here dip switches, and I want to put one like a comutator, like pulse and normal, and other to turn on and off. How should I do the solder?

Help please!

Well I can tell you, that if you can get your hands on some thin plexi-glass or acrylic, it would be MUCH better than a CD case jewel.

My suggestion is take the ring from the UMD door and put it on the plastic you intend to cut, then use it as a template and cut the rough circle out with a dremmel, trim it till it's a circle shape, and use a sanding bit to finish it off.

I've made blank jewels like this and my one piece of advice is to not rush it.
