« on: June 08, 2009, 01:53:37 PM »
How many 0805 leds would 1 psp support before turning off.

If you dont know an exact amount please feel free to say the most you have heard of on 1 psp.

also do i need a resistor at all for psp fats?  i dont care how bright the light is as long as it doesnt burn anything or Break anything on the psp.

1. As much as the batty can power. I wouldn't go over 100.

2. Yes use resistors if you want all you work to last..

What about if i use Sound reactive mod with
3mm LED Ultra Bright 3,000 mcd   that light if i can find a spot to fit it in the psp and i wired it to a speaker with no resistor what would happen?
will it work or will it fry somthing.

if i use a lot of Wire.  like a LOT of wire is being powered will that make the psp shut off if the speakers maxed out?   because that happened to one of my psp's =(.

I've used 3mm on a few PSPs for the sound reactive mod (direct contact).  I did not use resistors and they are still going strong.
I've used white ones (12,000mcd), red, blue, and orange (about 5k mcd) and they have gone well.
