gizmodo has posted a guide for us to enable Tethering on your iPhone/iPhone 3G/iPhone 3G S for free. visit a webpage and install a profile. easy as

you can tether with bluetooth, or USB. it's very fast! i'm actually using it now to type this message. only thing is, the phone gets warm when i use it xD. i'll post screenies in a sec.

i had to generate my own settings on the site using payandgo.o2.co.uk as the APN, not idata.o2.co.uk.
user and password for the accounts is the same. vertigo and password

yeah you dont press the button for choosing countries, you press the one below (Mobileconfigs    create (with the settings' cog logo), for generating custom settings. then put in what i said earlier for MMS and Tethering, press the 'Enable Tethering' switch (it's not an actual slider as it's on a webpage) to ON and generate then download.
