heres my psp it isnt as cool as most of them here but its my first time at it so im happy i got it to work and didnt have to buy a bunch of extra parts,i do need a new face plate took it apart so many times i striped the screw holes

Hi guys, today I decided too post my PSP, it has 16 SMD LEDs, 2 blue, 2 green, 6 white and 6 green reactive to sound and also 1 RGB 3mm.

is it normal if the led lights still glowing w/o the sound but the light is dim, i think theres a problem coz the led light only glows when there's a sound, i tried to resolder the left side shoulder button and its ok the led light is off and it will glows only when i play music but the right side i did not fix it, coz i dont know what is good the left (off) or the right (dim) w/o sound, but when i play music the sound and the light is ok , synchronize, pls help me coz im not satisfied of what i did , tnx

You should really be asking this question in it's own topic, but yes the led will still glow if there is no sound, because the speakers are always powered, the leds will have a dim glow to them. they only turn fully off when you turn the psp off or plug in your headphones.

Does anyone know how much a red psp like the one in 4dp's post on this page would go for on ebay?

Is there anywhere cheaper than coolmods.co.uk to get faceplates from? 30 euros is pretty expensive.
