Some site suggestions
« on: July 17, 2009, 10:59:29 AM »
I'm not able to post in the suggestions section,so I'll post em here instead:

1st of all we need board for windows and a board for linux, not under the PC section, but in their own separate boards.

My next one is adding a Chatango box to the site, acidmods chat is kinda dead but when the Chatango box is always up on the page it's kinda hard not to get involved in a chat.

Another one is to give more members R&D status, make a public R&D board and a private one where modders can create a thread to document the designs etc. for their mods before they want them.

And my final suggestion is to update the wiki big time!
Derp.

Why should there be separate boards for Windows and Linux? They're both OS and happen to fall under PC Software.

Also, I didn't know that there was a wiki... is it editable? (As a wiki should be)

Because they're 2 completely different types of operating systems. There's 2 separate boards for xbox and 360, right? They're both Xbox's but they're completely different. Case and point.

And we have a wiki but it hasn't been used in over a year or so, and it's only editable by admins, I think.

Well if we are making a board for windows and linux when not mac?  I think just one OS board would be better.

i will think more about this after i get back off holiday and havnt had 6 pints and half a bottle of vodka. but my idea if you are wanting a board for operationg system talk is that there is one board but people tag there topics with the OS i.e.^(MAC) (WIN) (LINUX) (BSD) etc

i am not responsible for what i do or my advice
