right speaker wont work unless pushed down. Help ty!
« on: July 27, 2009, 04:49:43 PM »
Kai so the backplate's tab that holds the speaker in is somehow missing the front part. so the structure is like this : tip of tab : ___/---------- <- back of tab. As u can see teh front is lower the the back o.O which makes the speaker not touch the tab thus not stoping it from moving. Now the only way i can make the speaker work is by pushing it with my fingers, den i can feeel the vibrations.

Any clue how to fix this? ty

Use a bit of hot glue to hold the speaker into position. That would stop it from moving around And keep it in contact with the speaker pads. you could also bend the metal legs on the speaker out a little so they can reach further.
